This structure is great for people who like to stick extra stuff into their journals. It is a hard cover variation of a long stitch. The spine is wider than normal to accommodate extra growth in the text block without bulging like many store bought journals do. Students will choose from a variety of book clothes, end sheets and a threads. We will create our covers, fold the signatures, and sew a book. Students will leave with two books. One I will be guiding students through step by step, and the next students can go at their own pace with me by their side to help when needed.

Students will be able to recreate this book at home with a steady hand by cutting binders board and paper. Extra materials can be purchased for recreating at home.
